JillJill – Office Manager

I have been in the dental field for over 30 years. I graduated from dental assisting school in 1980 and started to work as an assistant for 16 years. I then was the Purchasing Coordinator for a large practice for another 14 years. In 2009, I worked as a hygienist assistant and at the front desk in a smaller practice. I then started to learn the business end of the dental office. I joined Dr. Asam's team in 2010 as his Office Manager. I enjoy working with our patients to help them through their treatment and make the process run smoothly. In my time away from the office, I like gardening and spending time with family.

PattyPatty – Business Administrator

After being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years, I decided to do something for myself. I went back to school for dental assisting. After entering the dental field in 2006, I received my Dental Assistant Certification in 2008. A few years later, I discovered my passion for the administrative aspect of the dental office, and have remained there ever since. As the newest member of the team at Dr. Asam's, I look forward to helping care for our patients for many years to come.

JoyJoy – Assistant

I have been working side-by-side with Dr. Asam since 1999. I love working with patients and my co-workers. A source of great satisfaction is seeing the transformation of a patient smile. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, my family and my animals.

Kelley-JoannaKelley and Joanna – Hygienists

Kelley: I have been a dental hygienist for 11 years. I graduated from Old Dominion University School of Dental Hygiene in 2004. Aside from a brief stay after school in the Shenandoah Valley, I enjoyed finding a permanent home with Dr. Asam's office. I love getting to know my patients and educating them on ways to achieve optimal dental health. I reside in Great Bridge with my three sons. In my spare time, I enjoy the beach, live music and camping.

Joanna: While growing up, I always looked forward to my dental visits, despite my numerous cavities and having orthodontic treatment. After being a stay-at-home mom for several years to my son and two daughters, I decided to return to school and attended Old Dominion University where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. I have been very fortunate to become part of Dr. Asam's awesome team in this caring, fun-loving and intimate practice. Individualized patient education and maintaining comfort are the most important aspects to me in caring for one's overall health. When not at the office, I love spending time with my family and pets, enjoying the outdoors, and going to concerts.
